31 August – 6 September 2023
Day 1: Arrive at Cape Town International Airport and move to the hotel. Have sundowners, snacks, and a private wine tasting at Chapman’s Peak, tasting South African wine heritage. A local restaurant in Hout Bay with drinks closes out on the first day.
Day 2: Wine tastings in the Constantia wine region with a French bistro-style lunch. Move to Stellenbosch with two more wine tastings. Dinner on a wine farm.
Day 3: Explore the Somerset Wine Region with paired wine tasting, blind wine tasting, and sampling some local olives. Lunch with Tablers and join them on one of their local projects. Finish the day with two epic last wine tastings with spectacular views over the Winelands.
Day 4: Visit Pinotage’s home and have a lunch picnic. Visit the endangered bird sanctuary at Spier and finish off with world-class brandy. Dinner is a 3-course meal.
Day 5: Visit the Paarl wine region, tasting delicacies from the region. Have pizza under the trees for lunch, followed by a grappa tasting. Next up is the KWV wine emporium, followed by another fantastic dinner.
Day 6: The Franschhoek wine region will be explored by visiting four wine farms surrounded by mountains. The afternoon will be filled with wine-blending, where you can make your own wine and maybe even win the title of “Best Winemaker” of Round Table. A game drive provides a well-needed break before an exquisite dinner follows.
Day 7: Wine and chocolate tastings before moving on to a cheetah experience in Somerset West. The tour finishes with the most iconic South African wine, the Meerlust Rubicon.
1 – 6 September 2023
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town with a transfer to the hotel. Visit a local clubhouse enjoying a braai with some local Tablers.
Day 2: Explore the Cape’s natural beauty with a visit to a penguin colony and Cape Point. Take the Flying Dutchman for breathtaking pictures and enjoy lunch down south. Drive back on the world-famous Chapman’s Peak and enjoy sundowners there.
Day 3: A tour of Khayelitsha and possibly Gugulethu informal township in the morning is followed by a tour of Robben Island. There will also be some free time at the V&A Waterfront.
Day 4: Plan your own day and take the red bus tour taking in the highlights of Cape Town, eating a local bunny chow and ending the day on top of Table Mountain with sundowners. Dinner and drinks at the Sky Bar in Cape Town
Day 5: Start the day with the best coffee in the world. Travel to a local wine farm, enjoy wine and have a picnic under the trees. See various attractions on the way there and back and truly taste the Cape’s best.
Day 6: Your last day includes taking a trip to Hout Bay and taking a boat to see wild Cape Fur Seals. Have fresh fish and chips on the docks before departing back to Cape Town for the start of the RTI World Meeting.
1 – 6 September 2023
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town with a transfer to the hotel and an adventurous ride. Visit a local clubhouse enjoying a braai with some local Tablers.
Day 2: Transfer to the Cape Town Station and take a steam train to the Elgin Railway Market for snacks, shopping, and an afternoon hike. Dinner under the African sky ends off a great opening day.
Day 3: Canopy zip-lining over the Elgin valley and a light lunch start a fun-filled day. Clay pigeon shooting in the afternoon nicely sets up a potjie competition for the evening.
Day 4: Shark cage diving in Gansbaai will bring you face-to-face with a great white. End the day at the Hermanus clubhouse and some whale watching before returning to the Elgin area.
Day 5: Visit the Palmiet Nature reserve and do river rafting negotiating a beautiful river. Water sports and tube racing finishes a water focussed day. Lunch next to the dam or river with stunning scenery.
Day 6: After breakfast, travel back to Cape Town, but stop at a crocodile sanctuary to dive with the Nile crocodile for an encounter you will never forget. Lunch will be on a wine farm before departing for the World Meeting, with plenty of stories and epic pictures to share.
2 – 6 September 2023
Day 1: On arrival, you will be transferred to your Hotel in Cape Town. You will have time to settle in and take in your surrounds before a unique golfing opportunity have you show your skills in a challenge or two. Opening night dinner at the V&A Waterfront will show you your welcome pack and your 4-ball allocation for the next day.
Day 2: First up is the Milnerton (nr 80 in SA) links that occupy a dramatic site on the edge of a white sandy beach overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Table Mountain and the Cape Town skyline form an impressive backdrop. Lunch and drinks follow at the clubhouse before you travel to Arabella in Hermanus for optional spa treatments and dinner.
Day 3: Arabella (nr 8 in SA) is one of the country’s leading golf resorts, with a golf course consistently ranked in the top 10 since it opened. It occupies one of the most beautiful sites in the world, on the Bot River Lagoon, overlooking distant mountain ranges and attractive countryside. Lunch and drinks follow at the clubhouse before you travel to Pearl Valley for a spit braai dinner at a Tablers farm or the Paarl 44’s clubhouse.
Day 4: A golf course that exudes a luxury lifestyle, the experience at Pearl Valley (nr 3 in SA) is among the best on the continent. Jack Nicklaus has built six signature courses in South Africa, and Pearl Valley is ranked foremost among them. The typical lunch and drinks follow before moving on to dinner and drinks in the Durbanville 165 clubhouse.
Day 5: The tour ends with 9 holes at Metropolitan (unrated), lying in the shadow of the Cape Town Stadium, with Table Mountain and Signal Hill as a backdrop. An overall prize-giving and fines session ends this tour before being transferred to the World Meeting.
3 – 6 September 2023
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town with a transfer to the hotel followed by some shopping and free time at the V&A Waterfront. Dinner will be a feast at the V&A Waterfront with a beautiful sunset view.
Day 2: Transfer to Aquila Private Game Reserve to have a buffet lunch. After checking in, go on a 2–3 hour safari before dinner and a stargazing safari.
While at Aquila, you have access to their spa facilities.
Day 3: Get up early to see the animals on a 1 to 1,5 hour early morning game drive. After breakfast, have some free time at the pool or go for a spa treatment. Lunch follows with another game drive or do a free swop to a Horseback Safari. End the day with dinner and another stargazing safari.
Day 4: End your visit to Aquila with a last game drive and breakfast. Leaving back to Cape Town, you will stop in at Worcester to have lunch and wine tasting with the local Table stop at their clubhouse. You will arrive back in Cape Town just in time to join the biggest party of the year.
1 – 6 September 2023
Day 1: Arrive in Cape Town and depart to Hermanus for our overnight stay. The whale-watching season would have just started, and we will have a lazy afternoon and dinner close to the beach, hoping to spot some of them.
Day 2: Depart to Mossel Bay with a stop in Riversdale for lunch and a wine tasting. After checking into your resort accommodation, join a local Table in one of their projects before having a fantastic evening in the Mossel Bay 32 Clubhouse. As the custodians of the Buffalo, there is no better place for a member to return home to.
Day 3: After breakfast, you will go on a guided bush hike for 2 hours. Lunch is followed by a luxurious game drive, with an excellent opportunity to spot the big 5.
Day 4: Again, you start the morning with a morning safari, followed by a visit to the Diaz museum, where you will learn more about the explorers of the past. Try some local gin at an artisanal distillery before going on a sunset safari.
Day 5: SHARK. CAGE. DIVING. Finish the day at the Arniston hotel.
Day 6: Visit the most southern point of Africa, have a great lunch and have a one-on-one experience with a cheetah. Just as the World Meeting starts, you will be back in Cape Town.
